Association of Honors Students

   I have met a lot of hardworking people through this community and the required honors courses have opened my horizons to many new topics, skills, and possibilities. Through this extensive program, I am allowed to take extra classes (which I take advantage of eagerly) and even create a

two-year capstone project alongside a professor

in my field! There are also additional opportunities to present and publish my work; small, interactive seminars led by top faculty; and special lectures, symposia, and networking events.
   Most importantly, I am on the Executive Board serving as the Advertising Chair. In this role, I create advertisements (social media posts, physical flyers, etc.) utilizing my graphic arts and communication expertise. I run our Instagram and Slack; I am the connection between the campus and our organization. I also helped redesign the Honors Lounge in 2022 and frequently stock it with snacks (out of the goodness of my heart)!
